Since 2014, the Plano Mayor’s Summer Internship Program has been a catalyst for connecting talented students with Plano’s thriving business community. This unique earn-and-learn internship opportunity provides a launchpad for rising juniors and seniors enrolled in Plano ISD to gain real-world experience, build career skills, and contribute to the city’s vibrant economy.

Applications for the 2025 program will open on January 17

Student applications will be accepted through February 18 or until 300 applications have been received – whichever occurs first.

NOTE: Your application will not be considered complete until we receive the following digitally submitted forms:

  • Completed Intern Application
  • Parent/Guardian Consent
  • Capital One Consent

The two consent forms will be emailed to your parent/guardian upon submission of the Intern Application. Both consent forms require student AND parent/guardian signatures. Please check junk/spam email boxes to ensure all important messages are received.
